BDAE (Allianz)- Infinity

BDAE is a German insurance company, which covers the costs for both hospitalization and outpatient (doctor’s and medication) treatment (depending on the plan selected). BDAE is a very reliable insurance company that offers a very good service package against an affordable premium. The only way BDAE manages to keep the premiums affordable is because BDAE applies strict acceptance criteria for new customers. This means that all existing conditions are excluded from the insurance. For example: medication for high blood pressure will at least lead to an exclusion for cardiovascular disease.

Aetna

Aetna is one of the largest providers of international private medical insurance insurers, serving more than 800,000 members worldwide, including expatriates, local nationals, and business travellers. Aetna Thailand purchased BUPA Thailand some years ago and is therefore one of the largest providers in Thailand.

AXA Thailand General Insurance was founded in 1998. The AXA group is a global leader in insurance and wealth management, serving more than 105 million customers in 54 countries. Cigna

CIGNA is an American insurance company from origin and is one of the biggest health insurance providers in the world. Their Signature Care plan has been specifically designed to meet the needs for expats who want the reassurance of a trusted global health insurer but only require a local cover. Also, as the plan has many different plan options, you are always able to find an insurance solution meeting your personal situation and budget.

Pacific Cross

Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL is a member of the Pacific Cross Group of Companies, first established in 1975 and still today is one of the biggest leading specialists in health insurance products in Thailand. Their Lifestyle Series have been designed to meet the insurance needs of both Thai as well as foreign nationals. As Pacific Cross offers many different plan options, one can always find a plan that fits one’s own personal situation and budget.

Luma

LUMA is a French company which, in Thailand, cooperates with Navakij Insurance. The underwriter of the plan is AXA France. We have been working with LUMA for several years and have good experiences with them. Their claims are being handled by their own management center in Bangkok that is available 24/7 in case you need assistance.

Morgan Price was formed in 1999 to act as a product provider in the international healthcare insurance market. Their Evolution Plan – Asia Pacific has been designed for expatriates in need of a wide zone of cover and is therefore perfect for those that travel a lot to other countries.

PassportCard / David Shield was founded in 1999 and with offices in Israel, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and Cyprus is a leader in the field of expatriate health insurance.
